The Color Theory Workshop : Color Theory in Everyday Life 4/5/25

$100.00

The science and art of color is all around us, so it’s a good idea to know how to use it! The goal of this workshop is to become familiar with the amazing properties and principles of color. Using hands-on exercises with paper and paint, we will explore color relationships based on the foundational work of Josef Albers’ Interaction of Color. Then we’ll move on to the beautiful materials library here at Piano Nobile to play with tile, wallpaper, wood, and other materials.

No prior experience with painting or design is necessary. Skills include: watercolor painting, color mixing, collage. Each student will go home with a one of a kind colorful sketchbook, paintings or collages, and color cards. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Saturday, April 5, 2-4pm
